Decatur County REMC Donates Copying Machine for Children’s Advocacy Center

On December 17 the Decatur County REMC (DCREMC) met with members of the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) of Southeastern Indiana. The CAC had related to a new building to conduct their work, since they lacked a Copier/Printer the REMC offered to donate one. The CAC gladly accepted the donation of the spare machine. Emily Hankins, an employee of the CAC, thanked the REMC in-person for the donation. The REMC helped load the machine onto their trailer with a forklift and teamwork.

The Children's Advocacy Center is a non-profit corporation committed with the mission of providing relief for children that have suffered physical/mental trauma and abuse. As of 2009, the CAS has aided over 4,000 children who have suffered from abuse. The DREMC was glad to help out our community and a fellow organization committed to helping others.
