Decatur County REMC has a long history of supporting members with rebate incentives to offset the purchase and installation costs of heating and cooling equipment. We’ve been able to do this, in part, with support from our generating and transmission cooperative, Hoosier Energy. It’s important to maintain the electric load of our system and to do so in a responsible manner.
Residential equipment that we offer rebate incentives for includes geothermal, air source, mini-split, dual fuel heat pumps, and hybrid water heaters.
We also offer rebates incentives on electric outdoor equipment including lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, snowblowers, roto-tillers, and pressure washers.
