DCREMC board of directors to hold special board meeting, open to all members

There will be a meeting held in the community room at DCREMC Headquarters on July 28 at 6:30 p.m. concerning a written protest of the 2021 Board of Directors election results. All members are welcome to attend.

A written objection was filed by 5 members who wish to contest the election results in 2 of 3 districts in the 2021 director election (districts 5 and 6). The objection was signed by; Jay Hatton, David Holtkamp, Marvin Narwold, Kenny Peters, and Gordon Smiley.

Since 2018, the DCREMC board of directors has utilized a certified, third party election vendor (Survey and Ballot Systems) to ensure a fair, secure, and multi-platform election process providing convenient access for all members. SBS will be available to answer any member questions during the meeting.
